This comprehensive Guide, produced as part of the ACE initiative in Scotland, provides information on the law relating to a range of issues affecting unpaid carers including assessments, paying for care and flexible working. It also forms part of a continued campaign to promote carers rights and achieve real change and equality for carers.

The new ACE National partnership has now launched a research report - We Care - Do You? Conducted by The Centre for Social Inclusion, this ground breaking research identifies the factors that influence why, how and if carers access alternative care services that enable them to work.
