A national award scheme celebrates partnerships which have put in place health guidance and had some success in improving the health of the local community. If you've been involved in one of these schemes, why not enter and get your contribution recognised!
The NICE [National Institute for Health & Clinical Excellence] Shared Learning Award gives you the chance to share your experience of implementing NICE guidance with colleagues in the NHS and the public health sector. This is your chance to tell us what worked, what didn’t work and what you learnt.
Winners will be given a platform to present their work to their peers at the annual NICE conference. This is an unrivalled opportunity to share your learning and gain recognition for your hard work. There is also £500 up for grabs in each category, with an additional £1000 for the overall winner, to support implementation projects in your organisation.
The submissions will be judged under three categories: projects covering general implementation systems or approaches, projects focussed on implementing specific clinical guidance and projects focussed on getting public health guidance into practice.
The shortlisted candidates will also be offered free and discounted places at the NICE conference. The closing date for submissions is 30th September 2008.
